Merry Christmas guys!
Not much interesting content. Though I went to a party yesterday. They had a rum cake (Strong) and I ate half of it without knowing what it was. Needless to say, I started feeling really weird afterward.
Anyways, hope all you guys have a Awesome Christmas :D

That time of the year...
Well...winter break...what can I say...
It's that time of the year again. Where everyone invites each other to parties (Azn Parties) and parents drag their kids with them to spend "quality time"
Where the prospect of another year dawns. Where you start thinking about how short life is. Where you set out to change your ways. Where frenzied little kids pass by your house singing Christmas carols.
For me, maybe it will be finally the time of the year where I get a new computer. Or maybe wipe the charred slate clean. Or maybe move on to the wider world. Or maybe none or all 3...
Who knows...
For my brother, it is the time of the year for his birthday (21st) He turn lucky seven and tastes his first taro-coconut cake (O_o)
For you?

DisneyLand
Oh yes...the land of Mickey mouse...joy. It would of been ok if I wasn't sick. Went on this "Tower of Terror" style device and I nearly threw up...and the loop the loop on the California Scream Coaster didn't help. Then comes the parade and the people dancing around. The one with Cinderella comes and the "sister" skips and as part of the play asks "Will you go to the ball with me?" I said no and she fake slapped me. Pretty funny.
Hmm, what else? Oh yeh...Turkey Day. The day which we celebrate good harvest and honor the Native Americans who helped the starving settlers. Who in turn slaughters their people, waste their land, and drove them into little compounds called "reservations" Then these settlers form a "Democracy" and demand "freedom" and "justice." Oh the irony.
Outta time.

Online quizzes are retarded
I somehow have a feeling that all those quiz things that people do, like the 100 things about yourself, and that crap was made by stalkers. So many people do them so they can show off, or try to tell other people "My life sucks" and try to be emo and all without it being awkward...
They get lame and become waste of time. No one cares if you like someone right now, or if someone broke your heart, or if you hate your life, or if you are only pretending to be happy and your life sucks. Or if your never being yourself in front of others, or if you hate your life, or whatever. Seriously, don't people get tired of that crap?

Sexism
How come when a girl says "See? Guy's are so violent, if the world was ruled by women, there would be no wars, etc, etc" it's not sexist. And when a guy says "Women are generally less capable of ruling a country because they tend to focus on details then the big picture?" it is sexist?
Both statements are somewhat true, if not stereotypical. But how come one's acceptable in society and the other isn't? Society's messed up...

Star testing...
wow...ok...first of all, I HATE GEOMETRY. I'm more of a logistic person rather than spatial. My brain just doesn't work that way. And a certain teacher...*cough cough* taught rather badly.
For maps testing, I did better in Geometry in the beginning of 8th grade, than the end of it. So learning geometry actually made my score go down. wtf
Anyway, Math(Geometry) I got 524/600. Lowest of all my results -.- /!\ Bad Teacher /!\
Science was better...600/600.
Social Studies...."not so much" -famous quote (I left out the seriously part though xD) 546/600
English/LA was not bad 567/600
So all in all it was ok...except for geometry >_> oh well.
Moving on...let's talk about the weather. ITS CRACKA LACKA HOT (lol who says that anymore?). Dying upstairs cuz of the carpet. At least my dad agreed to turn on AC :D Hopefully it will get better on monday...and tuesday. I don't wanna get sunburned on my back in swim p.e. -.-
Anyways...till next time.

Science...and some other tidbits
So...in science we had to bring stuff for our "eco-columns" I had to bring the spiders(caught 4 of them) cuz I was the only boy in the groups (partners: Dyan, Josephing, Casey) and the roly polies (which majority of the ones I caught died -.-)
Some pretty funny stuff happened end of today. We were making those columns and all is well...la dee la dee da. Then "boom" and 5 seconds later the fire drill goes up. The teachers walked outside with her hands by her side with a "WTFX0R?" expression on her face. Turns out it was a false alarm. I think it was chemistry with their bombs lol.
So...soon after that, we were back to work...la dee lad dee da...and "EEEEEEKKKK!! AGHHHHH!!! HOLY ****" Goes up from a corner of the room. The praying mantis someone brought escaped. (dun dun dun dunnnnn) funny how high some guys in our class can yell/scream/screech.
So...after that we finished our eco-column...and guess what? We forgot about one of the spiders -.- So I was left with a spider that I was gonna set free. Afterschool I let it out, giving it vigorous shakes to dislodge it from the comfy nest of web it had already spun in the plastic cup. Something brown tumbled out of the cup. Assuming I had it out, I stood up. Miraculously, the spider flew up with me. (Obviously it was still hanging by the web) The wind carried it and it "flew" like a kite.
Until it went near these to girls...who were talking about shopping on the weekend? idk but they were pretty oblivious to not notice a spider right next their face. The spider landed on one of their head despite my valiant efforts of tugging at the cup.
"uhh, hey, you have a spider on your head"
*girl turns around*
"Yeh haha, very funny" *turns back to her friend*
*Her friend sees it...eyes bulging*
"omg I see it!"
"OMG GET IT OFF ME" *literally whimpers*
*I walk over laughing, flicks it with the cup*
Alina: something along the lines of "Be a man" idk...
In general it was pretty awesome ending to the day. Amusing to say the least. Oh and to those of you who wondered why no more 3D stuff...sit tight. Modeling humans is hard. I made some chess pieces but I didn't like how they turned out. Anyhow...homework is bogging me down so yeh...hold on for a while.
Oh and people...stop saying my voice is weird... -.-

HS
Well...Highschool is here already. Hm...well, what can I say?
I'm not gonna bore you guys with like every detail of what happened. Hell, I can't even remember. lol
But here's some first impressions:
-Highschool's like middle school...with lot's of people you don't know, and more freedom. Teachers let you use cell phone and cuss to some extent (Student: What the hell is this??? Teacher: Well this is...) in class.
-Girls here outnumber guys like by hella lot...more meat for the wolfs LOL xD
-Making friends is easy...you talk and bam, your already saying "sup, 'insert name here' " in the hallways when u see each other. Though I'm not sure if it will continue or last.
-In a way, there is lot less behavior/hate/bullying around.
-People say my voice sounds different...
hmm, that's all I got, and probably all your attention span got...

Dermagraphism
For a long time I could scratch my skin or something and it would pop-out...I recently discovered it's called Dermatographism: " Normally people skin becomes red and sometimes itchy when irritated...not mine. Here's a great description of what happens:
"basically if you use an object (such as the end of a spoon handle) to write your name on your arm without too much force, the result is the appearance of your name on your skin in the form of itchy raised red welts. This occurs within a couple of minutes or less. "
The part it left out is that it itches like hell. The more you scratch it the itchier it gets. Sometimes it's really torturous. Apparently it only affects 2-5% of the population...lucky me >_<
But on the bright side, it's always fun to creep out a friend or store a phone number or something if you don't have paper to write it on. For me it lasts around 45 minutes...and since it itches, you won't forget to write it down. lol
Plus, I can mimic Harry Potter and his lightning scar...LOL

More 3D
Made them a few days back. Now that I got 3DS Max 2010, I'm gonna stop using blender. Well...actually I probably keep using it until I become more competent with 3DS Max. It's insanely hard to use, but there's so much stuff to do.
Anyway, Here's a dolphin and a Wine Glass. Dolphin was made by lattice deformation and the wine glass is just a bunch of boxes stacked on top of each other that I smoothed out. Again, no textures (UV Mapping is too complicated in blender D:) Feel free to comment or whatever.

Inspired by my brother
Walk into my mystery
There you will find history
Walk into my seclusion
There you will find the solution
Walk into my world
There you will see the future unfurled
Walk into my despair
There you will see what no one will care
Walk into my void
There your hopes will be destroyed

"Soul of Music"
My piano teacher pisses me off. I practiced a lot this week. Like more than an hour a day, every day. By my standard, that's a lot. So I go in and play my pieces and etc. I got all the notes and most of the dynamics right.
And then my teacher hit me with all the soul of music crap. Apparently I'm not "expressive" enough and he berated me for nearly half an hour.
Why the hell do I care if I'm playing like a "robot" or "emotionless"? I got everything right didn't I? Why would I "express" anything with someone else's piece? So even when I play it all (mostly) right I'm still wrong? wtf...
I don't even care for music. Never did, never will. I don't even listen to music...and as far as I'm concerned, things would still the same without music. (You flame me for that and your dead) The only time I "listen" to "music" is in the car when the radios turned to 93.3 or something. I'll probably never understand why iPod was so popular. I mean wow, you get to listen to songs. omg that's so amazing /sarcasm.
Of course I'm not saying that music is stupid or retarded. In fact good music backing up movies or something is great. And I'll admit, there are some pretty good songs out there (not much though...90% is crap) But seriously... >_>

Extravagant
Went to this party thing at Fairbank ranch...they had a park there with lakes and little forest place. Huge. The place must of been like easily 10 times the size of our school. They had a BBQ and everything. Korean style...I think. The kimchi was a bit strong but not bad. At least I thought it was.
Saw a swan too. It was floating on the lake with its head head under his wing near the dock. Bunch of little kids there, all running and screaming...making a big ruckus as usual. The host of the party made 20 million a year...yeh...20 million.
Spend most of the time playing b-ball with this sophomore-to-be-at-Westview-guy named Tony. Did I mention how much I hate basketball? bleh. But I had nothing better to do. The community was rich like hell. But the court kinda sucked. Cracks in the concrete, rusty backboard, thick rim, list goes on and on...ghetto lol

Game Post
Those who are not interested in computer games, don't bother reading.
I've always been a huge fan of RTS. You know...those kind where you gather resources, build up army, attack, etc. The first RTS I ever saw was Command and Conquer...one of the old ones. I remember my uncle who used to play games back in China every weekend. I would go into his room and watch him play ( I was like 6). He had a habit of playing with really dim light or no light at all...and smoking while playing. I still find the smell of ciggarette smoke...oddly good.
He also had Counterstrike and Diablo II which he was quite good at (I think). Tetris and Bedazzled comes to mind as well. The only time I got to play was this one time when he answered his phone and I took over on Counterstrike. I remembered clearly that I screwed up and headshotted 2 of of teammates by accident as terrorist with a AK-47. lol...pure luck...or rather, pure bad luck.
Anyway, back to the topic of RTS. The first one where I extensively played was Starcraft. After watching a friend play, I was quickly intrigued. Seeing Terran tanks blowing everything up was just...classic fun. Of course you can't forget the Carriers. I think starcraft is older then I am lol. I acquire these games through...practical methods (One way to put it). Thus the new top of the line games were never knowned to me at that time. My computer probably couldn't handle them anyways.
After Starcraft was...Warcraft. Not World of Warcraft, just Warcraft III. I kinda lost interest because fantasy RTS wasn't really appealing. I stopped after Warcraft and moved on to FPS and RPG. (Soldier Front, Maplestory, Gunbound, Gunz) Mostly free games I could get my hands on. Some of my buddies played so It was pretty fun.
On my...11th Birthday, I got Age Of Empires III. I saw it at a parent's friend's sons' house. My friend got me it and another copy for himself. I thoroughly enjoyed Age of Empires. It got me back to the world of RTS. Heck of a fun game. I later got the expansions but the online community is dying as Microsoft closed ES which supported the server. More than half the fun was duking it out against other people online and playing User-Created Mods/Scenarios. So once more, I moved on.
Most of the gap in between AOE III and my most recent choices was filled by Combat Arms. Pretty nice FPS that getting ruined by Nexon and their greed.
Now...now what? To be honest, many of the recent commercial RTS turned out to be pretty dissapointing.
Empire: Total War- Historical RTS...revolutionary ship battles...insane graphics...even a multiplayer mode. It had it all (At least for me). But it takes too much CPU power. When you actually play it, the graphics are restricted to "low" because most computer can't handle it. Plus the TONS...TONS of bugs in the gameplay makes it very fustrating. Especially the AI. In fact, the company that made ETW, named Creative Assembly (CA) was nicknamed "Crappy AI" Also it lowered strategical demands. Basically the battles are fought with musket line infantries alone. Seriously, it definitely needs some variety.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II- This actually looked pretty nice...at first. But the blend of Medieval Fantasy Creatures with Sci-Fi technology is way too wacky. Not my taste. Like I said, Fantasy RTS isn't appealing.
There are also several which are very Grphically Intense. You can't play them without crashing short of a gaming computer. Of course there are also the ones that I didn't try. Here's some examples
Supreme Commander- BEAST...but seriosuly...the average computer can't even handle the smaller battles.
World In Conflict- Maybe I'll try it out...
Men of War- Maybe...
Right now I'm engaged in Company of Heroes. WWII based squad tactics rather than the usual old school RTS. Not bad, definitely not bad. The fresh gameplay and intense tactics makes it actually pretty fun. Though online doesn't work because of my...methods of aqcuirement
Looking forward to 0AD by Wildfire. Ever since AOE III, Historical RTS are very appealing to me. Also it will be FREE. That's right folks...FREE. It might surpass some of the commercial ones out there today...providing that they finish it. Free...with multiplayer and a high degree of realistic combat and historical accuracy. (You can actually walk on walls...and shields actually do something...and arrows can actually kill ur own guys...and formations actually make a big difference, not just eyecandy!) Plus, the graphics are pretty nice and more importantly, they're not too intense
Of course Starcraft II is on the TBR (to be released) list. But seriously...the developers are trying to rip us off D: splitting the game into 3 is BS. But of course with all the hype and hardcore fans I'm pretty sure they can pull it off. Which means more bad news for us common folks without money -.-
So yeh...that sums up my RTS experience....if you got something to recommend, comment. HS probably gonna be really busy so I'll probably stop. Guess it's the last summer...though I'm quite looking forward to school

Programming
Recently...well, not recently. A short while ago is more appropriate. I've taken up programming again. It is hard...obviously. Very tedious and time-consuming task but offers a great sense of accomplishment when the end result performs the way you intended to.
I've found that out of the two mainstream languages, namely C++ and Java, C++ is more straight forward and easy to understand...in the beginning. There are many advanced functions in C++ that will drive you insane. My mom claims that Java is easier to understand but I strongly disagree.

Beach Parties
Had one on Saturday...kinda boring and really embarrassing. All adults and little 6 year old kids. The kids were doing kungfu (or something like that) I played volleyball with the adults.
They had a net set-up and everything. (technically it was beach volleyball with a bunch of people.) But yeh...MVP? well maybe not...but I did really good considering how everyone else were all grown up. Fell a couple of times and got sand into my clothe -.- by the end my arm was stinging. The ball was kinda hard...<---Awkward. lol
The food was not bad...Ate and ate and ate...
Anyway here's a really funny prank to pull off. Y'know how people watch sunsets on the beach right? with like the sun reflecting off the water and everything. Here's something you can do. Ask someone to watch the sunrise on the beach with you. LOL
If you don't get it...here's an explanation. The sun rises from the east. We're on the west coast. Most people don't think of that. It's pretty funny when they're all like "check the weather channel, are you sure it's not going to be foggy?" I was literally rotfl
They had a net set-up and everything. (technically it was beach volleyball with a bunch of people.) But yeh...MVP? well maybe not...but I did really good considering how everyone else were all grown up. Fell a couple of times and got sand into my clothe -.- by the end my arm was stinging. The ball was kinda hard...<---Awkward. lol

posting it here cuz my internet is jacked up, and the auto-save is handy.
Response to Jwoo's textwall of death.
Maybe your too self-eccentric. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but seriously, there are millions of people out there who's living standards are well below yours. Emotions? They mean nothing.
Sanity...when you think about it...who is sane? The human race sure isn't. Who in the right mind would take drugs even when he knows they are harmful and lethal. Who in the right mind makes nuclear weapons that can kill millions...billions of their own race? WHO IN THE F*CKING RIGHT MIND WOULD SLOWLY DESTROY THE PLANET THEY ARE LIVING ON, THE ONLY PLANET THEY COULD LIVE ON? HUH? HUH? But humans do. Sanity? Don't make me laugh...
There's few people in the world who don't wish to make a impact...to make their lives mean something. But does that mean they succeed? No. Even if they do, time destroys it all. Time is a force stronger than change. Without time, what changes?
Maybe you should look deeper.
Maybe you should get over it.
There is no wrong and right, the world isn't that simple. Do what you want, when you want it. Don't take life to seriously...no one gets out of it alive anyways. It all comse down to your attitude
Maybe I'm being cynical, maybe I should listen to myself. I don't care.

Perspective
I always use to think that people change slowly...over time. But is that really the case? Suddenly, one day I woke up and the things that appealed to me the day before that no longer seems so exotic...so satisfying...or so fun.
Here one day, gone the next. Touche.

So far...So...meh
So, I got ETW onto my comp so I'm trying that atm since my comp can't handle M2TW(gives me some stupid error and CTD) yet it can handle its successor O_o stupid ATI Radeon 2400 HD...it sucks.
And...I had a Piano recital yesterday. I played Chopin's Waltz in A flat Major. It was a pretty easy song and I did fairly well if I do say so myself. There was this one girl...Cathy I think...she was insane. Only 13 but she's playing above panel level. Paul? Luke? No competition...(they're good but she's just insane...) Her father got assassinated or something? mysterious...
Hm...what else? Oh yeh...Transformers 2: Revenge of The Fallen. Can't wait...the trailer was awesome. Did anyone see the "T2RoTF: I'm your worst nightmare" trailer? Hilarious if not somewhat vulgar.
well um...that's about it

Tile...
So my dad decided to changed the front yard a bit. those of you who went to my house before probably know that it's pretty fancy...except for two things. The gray concrete front of my door and the light tan cement on the right. oh wait...make that 3. The garage ramp is pretty dull too.
anyway, we decided to put these red stone tiles over the gray concrete. So we got a bunch of stone tiles and mortar and tools and etc and got to work. started 2 days ago and it's half done. so far so good. there's some flowery pattern tiles and we put them in squares and the finished result under the porch light was really cool.
but, nothing is easy. especially not that kind of manual labor. Squatting there for hours spreading wet mucky mortar was not fun. so much gunk everywhere. hands...arms...etc.

Vegas
So yeh...I went to Vegas on friday-monday. We left that day at 3 in the afternoon after partying at my parent's friends house. We went on this bus with all the people we partied with and left for Vegas. Stopped on Barstow (spelling?) and had McDonalds...haven't had that in such a long time. The last time was like during the fires lol. So I got the Angus 3rd pounder bacon n cheese. Not bad...
So we got there like 11 at night, watched get smart in the hotel room and went to sleep really late. Next day we woke up at like 9 and went to this business/convention meeting thing (that was the whole reason why we went there)
It's called Market America, I'm definitely going to do it when I become 18. Their motto is "take 2 vacations a year...6 month vacations" But you have to work hard for that kind of residual income. The good thing is, your working for yourself, you won't get fired on your boss's whim, and the income stays with you forever, even if your not working. But like every money making job out there, it's hard.
Anyway, back on topic. After the business meeting, the moms went shopping and I had to babysit all the kids. bleh. you ever tried going to sleep with like 10 kids running around the room screaming bloody murder while thwacking each other and you with pillows? yeh...and I really needed the sleep too.
Then we went to Buffet. the food was really good...I mean REALLY good. There was sooo much stuff. and the dessert bar was just amazing. every kind of pie, pastry, cakes, and sweets you can imagine. I think I must of gained a few pounds after the trip lol.
So after that we went back to hotel, screwed around in the arcade and stuff and went to sleep.
On sunday there was another convention/business meeting thing. They introduced people how made $80,000+ every 4 weeks without them doing anything....wtf. and there's like dozens of them...more wtf. After that we went to adventure dome in circus circus and went on a bunch of rides and stuff. Got on the bus at like 5.
During the bus ride their was like "entertainment" they played this Chinese movie on the mini Tv's they had on the back of every seat. plenty of kung fu action and stuff. I chatted with this guys named Johnathan Liu. He was one of the few people there who actually treated me like a...equal I guess. Partly cuz he was only like 20 anyway
All the other adults are like "how old are you? what grade are you in?" and all that crap. That's how parents are. When you voice your opinion, they treat you like a kid and ignore your opinion. When they want your help, you automatically become "almost a highschooler" and should have the responsibility.
anyway, we stopped on Barstow and got subs. then went back to the bus, and had like this joke sharing thing. I would tell some on here but most were in chinese. Came back on like 12 on sunday...technically it's monday...w/e
Not pictures...parents deleted them I think. btw, this post is like the longest ever...if you read till here, congrats lol

Promotion Party
Amazing. It was the most fun I had in a looonnnggg time. Hide n Seek (I ditched haha), ping-pong, cake smearing, helium sucking, brawling, twistering, eating, drinking (not beer lol), talking, laughing, taking pictures, skateboarding (or rather I tried to), chessing, and etc etc etc.
A big thank you to Joyce for hosting the party. Hope everyone have a awesome summer.
As for now, I'm off to Vegas in a hour or two...be back on sunday
P.S. Megan Fox is still ugly lol

Neon Night
It was pretty fun...better than I expected.
Me and Shraman walked there and got food. I had like 5 servings+2 ice cream+2 soda (hungry beast xD) it was goood. After that there was a bunch of games and I got tickets. But I only turned in like 7 so naturally, I didn't get anything for the raffle. Anthony turned in like 20? 30? anyway, he had a bunch but he didn't get anything. It was funny, the guy went "An---drea" Anthony got his hopes up and still lost. What a shame, after all that hard work lol
There was a really amazing magic person. It was insane, he did all sorts of tricks that I thought would be impossible. We couldn't spot any loopholes in them. Professional.
The donut eating contest was hilarious. I couldn't get a good grip on the donut with my teeth. and in the end, the top part of it fell off the ribbon. Guess who won? Nithish...big surprise huh? lol
It lasted for 2 hours and it got pretty cold, thanks to jwoo spraying me all over with watergun -.- In the end I took a picture with all the girls jumping/etc. It was like impossible since everyone started getting in the way.
All in all, it was pretty awesome.

Confusion...when it happens, it's better not to think about it. Let it clear up on its own...just be prepared with what you will finally understand when it does.

Realization
To myself:
You grew up, without parents by your side, passed from relative to relative.
You start school, as the youngest and smartest
You are despised for being better than them
You finally settle down, only to move again, to a country where you know the language not
Your parents are like strangers, having never remember seeing them before
You start school again, teased and made fun of because you can not speak their tongue
You succeed in melding in, only to transfer when you move
You start this new school and time passes
You make new friends, new acquaintances.
You go through your life and learn some of the more...obscene aspects of life
You go to middle school, and find some one better than you, his influence dominating yours
You discover a powerful passion, never to be realized
You climb high, only to fall with no one there to catch you
Your iron shield, impenetrable, or so you thought, was shattered; leaving you vulnerable
You emotions run high, pouring out, leaving you empty
You go through life, confused, not knowing what to do
You get by everyday, hoping that the next will be better
But you don't realize that there are people out there worse off then you
Your self-centered-ness blinded you.
You fail to comprehend others, only focused on your own feeling, or rather whats left of them
You are truly a fool among fools

Optical Illusion
Just wanted to share this really cool optical illusion you can do.It may be a bit difficult to pull off at first, but other people have been able to do it, so its not just me going crazy.
Materials:
-A ceiling fan, must be turned on, faster speed is better
-Form of slight elevation to lay on such as a bed or sofa, this is optional, but makes the trick easier
-Eyeballs, preferably two
Heres what you do:
-Lay down, facing up, under the ceiling fan. It is better to lay on something a bit above the ground, like a bed or sofa. Try to be a few feet to the side from the center of the fan.
-Stare at the center of the fan, the part that is not moving. Do not blink or move your eyes, or the trick will be ruined.
-Watch the spinning fan blades out of the corners of your eyes, but dont take your focus off of the center. You should start to see the edges of the fan blades form a circle.
-Keep staring, and then the fan blades will appear to spin in the other direction extremely fast. Then the blades will appear to fly towards you a short distance as little black dots fly everywhere. This make take longer the first few times it is attempted, but should still take no more than maybe 30 seconds.

It is here
It is now
It shall be no more
So be it
I say
So be it
Let Fate run its course
Let Life leave its marks
On me
A short pain
Than a long torture
They say, but not I
I will bear it
Now and always
For it will forever be there
Regrets
That I could of done different
But now it makes no difference
Pain
For what I lost
But not for what it was
End this now
Say no more
And let the inevitable proceed
Fly high
Fly free
And be with the one meant for you
No matter where the destination
No matter who you choose
May it be a happy flight
It is now
It shall be no more
So be it

Hm?
First, about my last post, I'm not a atheist or an anti-religion pr hate religion. That would make me no better than the people who persecute other s because of their religion. I'm agnostic, meaning that I don't believe that there is enough evidence to support that there is a god. But if it is somehow proved, I will accept it.
One thing about religion that I like and support: Moral teachings. People need more of these. Right now, the society is trash...maybe that's an overstatement to you guys. But please realize that our lives is very shielded and sheltered. I'm not saying people are evil...just that not enough are "good"
Just to clear some things up...

Chinese school is over...
bout time...had a test etc. boring.
I fell like talking about religion today and just to warn you, if your a strong "believer", don't read on.
First of all, in all religions, there is god/s. I find this pathetic and believe it is a sign of how weak humans are. They believe that this "God" will protect them and use it as an excuse for their actions.
It is also ignorant. These people make up all these things about how god made the world and use god to explain the natural events in their life. Instead of trying to figure WHY these things happen, they invent a bunch of non-sense. For thousands of years, people thought thunder was because Zeus was angry, and rain is because some random Deity is crying. Lame...
I'm going to step a little farther and say that religion is one of the major hindrance in our world. It slows our progress and makes us weak. Think of all the great people and empires in history, the rulers, the conquerors. Then think about their downfall.
Aztecs: The Aztecs were probably one of the most powerful civilization in the Americas. How did they fall? Most would say the Spanish conquered them and destroyed them. But why did the Spanish want to destroy them? Gold was a factor, but there was more.
The sacrifices. The Spanish saw this as a "evil religion" and was driven to destroy the Aztecs. Also, the sacrifices were often children from surrounding tribute states and from within the empire. When the Spaniards came, these states who hated the Aztecs but previously couldn't do anything about it rallied with the Spaniards. These natives made up more than 7/8 eighth of Cortez's army. So in reality, the Aztecs fell because of their religion.
Still not convinced? Look at the crusades. The crusaders burned and looted the city, raped the women and kill the men without mercy all in the name of God. There are countless more examples of atrocities down in the name of god which I will not mention so you guys won't be bored to death.
Notice how fast the society is advancing? Why? Ever since the renaissance (or however you spell it) people began to shed the idea of religion and God. Look at the results. Yet some people still cannot accept these ideas. Galileo proved that Earth was round and sun was center of the universe. This went against the Church and his work was hindered. Many people doubted him even when he had all the evidence just because it went against their religion.
Btw, those you who say God cares about you and you love God etc. etc. you're delusional. God was invented by humans to fight off the fears of humans. They invent and embellish a all-powerful figure which protects them so they feel secure.
Even today, wars are fought over religion and people are persecuted because of it. Don't flame me with insults. If you have an argument, I'll crush it. No matter how you look at it religion is...pathetic

Speech...
My speech was horrible ugh. I was shaking the whole time and messed up so bad and stumbled a bunch of times. Well at least I got it over with...
And those who thought I went to the BR as an escape tactic...it was not. I really had to go.
The best speech so far in my humble opinion is Maggie's (not to offend anyone) Her speech completely wowed me. It made me feel like a idiot. The others were great too especially the people who went early. It's hard to deal with the pressure on stage.
Wish everyone who haven't went yet good luck.

Wow...
They say that there is nothing to fear but fear itself...
Reasons to live appear and disappear but the subconscious will to live is always there. Those who faced near-death knows it.
We did drops...yes those things on those tear-shaped blue papers. You wouldn't believe how easily some girls filled those out. I was still struggling on my first one as they rushed through their 3rd, 4th...and so on. It seemed odd to me, as I regard my feelings private and personal. A part of myself that I refuse to give up or share
Do they value their feelings? The ones scribbling out their inside one by one on that piece of blue paper...
I suppose I'm being hypocritical by posting this and a lot of people will go like "wth? what a creep" but I found this thought-provoking to some degree.

So I put all my eggs in basket...I believed that if I tried...maybe...just maybe. Well, I have tried, failed, despaired. Why? The answer was so obvious...yet I never accepted it. I refused to.
But in the end, reality is harsh. Face it...no one can escape it. Inevitable as Death himself. So now what? Will I let myself drown in this pool? I've have considered...but no. I don't love life...I fear death.
So I swore, that on the outside I will not change...not one bit. No matter what happens I will be the Michael that everyone knows. But for just how long can this go on before I grow sick of it? I don't know...
truth to be told, I don't know anything anymore. Things like people change too fast. Or maybe I'm just too slow.
What now? Life is becoming dull...the same thing over and over. Getting through everyday just so I can go home and...do what? Study? Listen to my parents screaming at each other and my brother crying? Why?
It disgusts me...

Roasted...
Omg...I feel like one of those roasted ducks in the oven...
The heat is unbearable. It makes me feel...sluggish. I hate it, despise it, can't stand it. (a set of three?)
anyways...testing's coming up. My parents were trying to be "good parents" and said they would actually cook me a good breakfast. but they ended up oversleeping and I had to wake my dad up...like usual.
I was up till 4 last night trying to cram as much stuff into my head as possible but I still failed...I know already that I got 2 wrong for sure. I blame Mrs.Decarlo lol.
excuses aside...I'm so confused right now...about everything. Kinda like a ship the deep sea fog. everything around seems intangible...
ok enough rambling. I'm gonna go take a shower (4th time in 2 days) I'm sweating like one of those plant waterers (not that you want to know)
let's just hope that it's gonna get better tomorrow...

Woe and Behold
Break was...less than satisfactory. Since everyone went off to DC there wasn't much left for me to do.
Daily Routine:
Eat
Do CST testing and crap
Computer
Eat
Computer
Tennis
Eat
Computer
Sleep
Repeat
Got so bored that I ended up playing Age of Empires 3 for like 4 hours straight ugh. Missing the good old nostalgic school...almost. At time like this, one often wonders and wishes to have a more exciting and meaningful existence. I suppose everyone has their downs and ups and the higher they climb the harder they fall.
All in all...life is still the same normal everyday thing it has always been, is, and most likely will be.

Humiliation
Ok I played against Jwoo today...first set he beat me 7-5 (I screwed with double fault in the end) and I was winning 4-1 the second set. Jwoo did good and it was pretty fun.
Here comes the crazy part...this little kid...about 7 or 8 years old showed up at the court next to us with his dad. The dad was drilling the kid who played insane...absolutely insane. Better than us 8th graders. This was proven when his dad told us he wanted us to play his son to see how he would do against older kids.
Seth (his name) could do twist serves...yeh like the ones u see in Prince of Tennis. You can actually see it curve in the air. And it goes crazy when hits the ground(luckily he was short so he couldn't hit it too deep/hard so none us got hit in the face) Jwoo was playing beautifully aginst the kid. He did some great shots and got a point by using his height and smashing consecutively a few times. but in the end he lost game-15 (that's 4-1 for those of you who dont know...) and had to go.
I played next against him. I managed to hold him at bay with my crazy slices. His dad threw the ball to him during practice with his hand so Seth probably don't have much experience with playing off slices. Plus he was kinda tired by then. I won by hitting a extremely lucky shot that rolled over the net. Truth to be told, he was way better than us both...even if it was 2 vs 1 he probably could of brought us down...
I bet Jwoo is posting this too

Del Norte Sports meeting
It was 2night at like 6:00. Bunch of people there and was pretty crowded. There was a guy from Xenan(I think) and he slipped and fell during the presentation...I mean c'mon, how do u slip on the floor in the gym? guess he musta been clumsy.
I put post-its on tennis and soccer. Lots of people picked football...and I was going to do volleyball but it conflicted with tennis and a lot of people said it was "girly" My dad told me to do golf which I despised so I just ignored him.
I wonder what sports you people picked hmm?

Hmm
today was OK...I guess...it was easy. Not much happened except for dodgeball in 5th period which was pretty fun. Killed a few people and got killed a few times.
after school I played tennis with Shraman. He's really good at slicing but thinks he sucks...or he's being modest lol. Brandon joined us later and so did D (Deeeee lol). But D had to go cuz his lil bro broke his collarbone somehow...D is a great player and he thinks I can take down Jwoo (though I'm not so sure). Me and Brandon kept playing after Shraman left till like 7:50
We also saw Meena and Noah and some other girl at the courts. They were like JV level (Crazy) and I got to see some relatively high middle school tennis playing.
anyways...I g2g now.

Math MAPs testing...uhg...I got 287 -.-
plus I forgot to bring my science journal so couldn't turn in my science homework. The most exciting thing was probably when Mrs.G said how some people in the south had bumper stickers saying "We don't give a sh*t about how ya do it up north." She said it like 2 (or 3) time lol
...I barely practiced piano during the whole week but somehow managed to survive piano lesson. Got really lucky cuz the teacher was in a good mood.
Oh yeh TK, gratz on ur blog ahaha

Whew
Sub today...it was really funny. I was twirling a pencil and it fell on the floor. Jwoo picked it up and threw it behind my chair. I turned around to pick it up and the sub was like
"YOU THERE! THE BOARD'S UP FRONT! WHY YOU FACING BACKWARDS"
So I explained that I had to pick up my pencil and then the sub was like
"WHY WAS IT BACK THERE?"
I said Jwoo threw it there and the sub yelled
"WHY DID HE THROW IT?"
I said that it fell down and he was trying to give it to me. By this time he fell silent and nithish said "Why did it fall down?" and we all started cracking up.
After school I played tennis with Brandon. He only started like a while ago but he can already serve, topspin, and have solid fore/back hand. Plus he is tall and have crazy stamina. It was fun.
sigh...tomorrow's St.Patrick's Day but I won't wear green so you guy can pinch me...at your own discretion...XD

Petco
First time ever I went to Petco today. The impression it gave me was a giant fish market. There was walls lines with fish tank. They had a tank with some black clown fish and someone wrote "EMO NEMO" on the tank lol.
oh yah...I never been to Starbucks either...seriously

CM results
I passed...yeah, unbelievable...I know. But somehow I managed to pass level 8 despite only having played piano for nearly 4 years. I didn't get honors and didn't expect to but I was close. I had a good(B) for technique and honor requires an excellent(A+). If I had that one tiny thing I coulda got honors. The thing that pisses me off the most is that I played my scales and stuff without any mistakes and got a good when my sight-reading sucked and yet still got the excellent...wth. Oh well I at least I got past level 8 and my teacher said I might, just might, be able to skip 9 and do 10 next year.

Black Cat
yeh...I just wanted to share a new manga series I've been reading recently. It's about a assassin named Train Heartnet who used to be an "eraser" for Chronos, a secret group who controls nearly1/3 of the world. He quit the organization and became a "sweeper" (bounty hunter and the sort) The storyline is excellent and there is a combination of action(lots of it in fact) adventure and some comedy in between. I strongly recommend this manga. Give it a try and I'm sure you'll like it.
